in their respective fields. The chapters on adrenocorticotrophin, oxytocin, and vasopressin are not very inspiring. This book will be a useful reference book for research endocrinologists or those involved in the measurement of hormones in blood. The latter will find it useful for its critical evaluation of methods rather than a description of a particular method. It is a good book, well written, and, in general, the authors have accomplished their purpose.
